The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) wishes to remind all employers and their Social Security Schedule Officers that by, Section 63 (7) of the National Pensions Act 2008 (Act 766), employers are required to submit their monthly Contribution Reports to SSNIT by the last day of the month.
This is to facilitate the payment of accurate contributions by the 14th of the ensuing month as stipulated by the law (under reference).
Employers are reminded to adhere to the above requirements of the Law to avert the application of sanctions including imposition of penalty for non-payment of contributions on time and prosecution for failure to submit Contributions Reports.
Employers should note that, Contribution Reports could be submitted at ANY SSNIT Branch throughout the country.
