STATE LANDS – ACCRA-OSU- (SITE FOR MARINE DRIVE INVESTMENT PROJECT) INSTRUMENT, 2016.
WHEREAS it appears to the President that the land specified in the Schedule to this Instrument is land required in the public interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred on the President of the Republic of Ghana by subsection (1) of section 1 of the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act 125), this Instrument is made this day 19th day of April, 2016.
The land specified in the Schedule to this Instrument is hereby declared to be land acquired in the public interest.
ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL of land containing an approximate area of 98.356 hectares or 243.039 acres known as site for Marine Drive Tourism Investment Project situate at Osu, Accra Metropolis in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana bounded on the North by the Evans Atta Mills High Street which stretches from the Attupai Community in the West to the Liberia Road junction followed by the 28th February Road up to the Osu Castle Road junction followed by the Castle Drive Road up to Salem Avenue, and the South Anorho Community measuring a total distance of 3232.739 metres (10606.1 feet) on the East by an untarred road measuring a distance of 113.6 metres (372.7) feet) on the South by the Gulf of Guinea measuring a distance of 2766.822 metres (9077.5 feet) on the West by the Baiden Powell Memorial Hall, the Ghana Scout Association offices and the Bishop Lorry station measuring a distance of 269.26 metres (883.4 feet) more or less which piece or parcel of land is more particularly delineated on plan No. Z. 57994 attracted here to and thereon shown edged pink.
The land, the subject matter of the above-mentioned Executive Instrument, is vested in the President on behalf of the Republic of Ghana free from any encumbrances whatsoever. A copy of the plan referred to in the Executive Instrument may be seen during business hours at the offices of the Executive Secretary, Lands Commission, Cantonments, Accra, the Director, Land Valuation Division, the Director, Public and Vested Lands Management Division, the Regional Lands Officer, Lands Commission, Greater Accra Region.
Any person claiming a right or having an interest in the subject matter of the above-mentioned Executive Instrument or whose right or interest in such land is affected in any manner shall within six (6) months from the date of publication of the above-mentioned Executive Instrument, submit in writing to either of the following

i. Particulars of the claim or interest in the land.
ii. The manner in which his/her claim or interest has been affected by the Instrument.
